God’s Vision for a New Season!

Time is like a river, you can’t touch the same water twice,    the water that passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment in life!

We are stepping into a new season – Springtime!  The Holy Spirit is opening new doors to enter. Our physical world experiences changes (Ie. colorful autumn leaves). The tide of change is flowing. Our spiritual world is sensitized to the fact that God wants to advance us. So, don’t separate yourself from the presence of God.   It is God who initiates us to be the people of God called by His name.  It is a time for rivers of living water to flow out of our inner most being. It is a time to worship and praise and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a time of preparing for the anointing of the Holy spirit to wonderfully bless us!

Psalm 31:15 says,Our times are in His hands.” The flowing river is dependent on the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:30 says, “Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit.” If we block the Holy Spirit, we can stop the flow.

Today, we shall about the Sower (Jesus) who went out to sow His seed. We need the “Seed” of the Word of God to fall on good ground.  The soil matters when the Holy Spirit is moving. The soil matters where God’s presence is, where God’s love is felt, where the Word is shared and God’s vision is presented. That’s where His blessing is poured out – where God’s partnership is with His chosen people!   We want to be where the soil matters – where God sets His perimeters. This is His invitation to His chosen people to plant themselves. God’s love in any form is good soil. We want to sow good seed into Kingdom soil where God’s Word is alive!

God has vision days to give vision to His people.  The Word says, “Where there is no vision people perish (or cast off restraint)” (Proverbs 29:18). His Holy Spirit directional roadmap guides us closer to Jesus.  GOD GIVES VISION TO HIS CHOSEN!  God has His eye and hand on His chosen. He has a vision purpose for us.  He forms His chosen into a Christian community guided by His voice.

Jesus’ vision statement is found in John 15:16 and we are part of it! Jesus is speaking,  You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”

It tells us to remember that Jesus is speaking to us about a vision He has. It inspires Him with a passion for the Father’s will – His Father’s business! (Luke 2:49) It’s a shared vision of partnership with all those who believe in Him.

To fulfill the vision, it would require sending His Son to the Cross of Calvary to die  and be resurrected to redeem and forgive the world.  He decreed it and put us in good soil that we should bear good fruit and that it should remain.   That is our assignment – to bear good fruit.  There are three spiritual forces involved in this: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They all have the same vision.   His Church is to be guided by one voice of wisdom (John 15:16).  He is speaking of a redeemable, attainable vision.  It’s a vision of choice. (Think back to Adam in the Garden of Eden and of the 12 spies.)

We remain God’s forever proclaiming the good news of this “so great a salvation!” Nothing equals Christianity!  We get to participate. Jesus, the Seed of Genesis, is here NOW!  Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8).  His Word will not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). God has a great plan of redemption. He draws us with His love, for a purpose to be His people who go and bear fruit and to KNOW JESUS and TO MAKE HIM KNOWN.

We need to live in confident trust that God knew what He was doing when He chose us!  “God will never seek anyone without the highest good for them. Before a man can seek God, God must first have sought the man” (A. W. Tozer quote).  God was always there!  God fills us with vision to desire God’s will.

God has already previously been where He wants us to go. So, live in the light of God’s love and live in Jesus’ vision mission (John 3:16; John 15;16)
