As we proceed into the second month of 2026, I would like to take a few moments to talk about our walk with the Lord. I have been in the ministry for 47 years and have been asked many questions. Today, let’s talk about one question in particular: “Are the days of personal evangelism over?”
My feeling is that GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE! JESUS STILL HAS AN ARMY! We are His people called by His name (2 Chronicles 7:14). As Christians, we can get conditioned by the world and tend to drift. I remember the supernatural transition experience that took place at my conversion back in 1978 that completely changed my life during the Charismatic Renewal. Today, revival is sweeping the world, especially in the GEN Z generation. There has been an unprecedented sale of Bibles over the past few years. JESUS IS STILL ON THE THRONE.
What’s going on? People are developing a renewal of partnership with God. Nothing can be done on our own. If not in partnership with God, it will not happen.
What about us? Are we in agreement for prayer and evangelistic outreach? Are we together praying and believing for family, relatives, friends, and for our communities?
God’s reputation is being questioned in the world, but Hebrews 13:8 says He has not changed: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” This verse emphasizes Jesus’ unchanging nature, character, and faithfulness throughout all of time, providing a consistent and reliable foundation for Christian faith. We can trust Him completely.
Is the Church today culturally healthy? The world tells us “Do what you want.” God is looking for pure, “pristine” hearts. What can we do to make it healthy? The only cure is the ‘Gospill.’ It’s the only prescription needed. It is time that Jesus Christ be introduced to the Church — to all we know. It’s time to stand our ground. We have an armour – let’s keep it on. Like David, when facing Goliath, (1 Samuel 17) let’s acknowledge with gratitude what God has done for us in the past, what He is now doing, and what He will do in the future. The Church will survive built on the spilt-blood of the Cross and Christ’s resurrection power!
There has to be harmony of vision. Proverbs 29:18 states, (3 versions) …
1. “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” (KJV)
2. “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.” (NIV, NKJV)
3. A modern interpretation: “people come to no good end.”
The vision God gives you will reveal the achievement He desires for you! Jesus is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
